silly saturday

Hey, what a day we had around here. All 3 Bunn girls drove from Manitoba to visit for a couple of days. They came with Grandpa and ma for supper and we had such a nice visit together. All 3 sisters used to room and board with us at different times when I was 10 through 18 years old.
Going through something like this sure opens your eyes to all the wonderful people one has around. I had a phone call from my buddy Donny, who I used to work with in a group home for youth. It is amazing how close I feel to people who I hardly ever hear from due to the different directions we take in life. I feel so strongly that it is so important to carve out time for friends and family in our busy lifestyles. That's one thing that Esther and I feel so good about. We have done so many things together over the years and alot of the time it involved visiting family and friends that tend to be far away.(most of you probably thought that we just wanted free food and a place to stay.) No, we actually wanted to visit. Weird eh?
Speaking of visiting, I have had great visits right here over the past 12 days or so. Visiting is great!
Thank the Lord for the visiting we can do with the Lord through prayer. He is always there to hear our prayer and He knows exactly what we need even before we ask.
