friday yaps
Hey, so sorry so late! We got home late and then I had a crazy time trying to sleep last night. Then, to top it off, i did the blog then lost it somehow. So, here it goes again. A little update.
The trip to Kelowna went smoothly. Our friend Dan Barber drove us down and we stayed over at Corwin Smid's parents. That was awesome! Then we met the specialists who are overseeing my treatment. (Radiation and chemo) Again, these guys said that this tumor is so so rare. It is actually most comman in children. Those of you who always tell me to grow up or wonder if i will ever grow up, really do know me.
They sure can't give us any hope with this situation.(I mean really) But, we know who gives hope and that is where our focus is. Our hope is in the Lord and we are so thankful for everything He has done in our lives. Once again, we are believing God for a miracle! I found out that i have to go back to Kelowna on Tuesday and Wednesday for MRI and ct scan in prep for treatment. Then, it's back home and then they have me scheduled for September 18 to start treatment. I will be receiving 6 weeks of treatment in Kelowna and Esther is planning to be with me during it all.
She is taking a leave from her work and I am so thankful for her support.
Once again, thanks so much for all the kind works and prayers from you all.
Talk to you soon, Tim

Hi Tim and Esther, we've been keeping up with your journey and we're sorry to hear of your trials. It's a good thing you have such faith. We hope that it gives you the strength that you need at this time. We're thinking of you. Love, Faye and Bruce and kids.
Hey Tim!
...found this prayer for cancer patients....Heavenly Father, we pray for all those undertaking chemo, the use of medicines or drugs to treat disease, that the Lord will work out His perfect will in your situation and bring about healing. We ask that The Great Physican will heal all those that have undergone surgery and radiation therapy and that the fire of God will destroy all cancer cells. We speak peace to all the patients and ask the healing virtue of Our Lord God to flow through every vein, tissue, cell ligament and that healing will manifest. We believe that Gods desire is manifest in your life. His desire is written in 3 John 2 "Dear Friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." We speak peace to all the families having cancer patients. We speak uncommon provisions to cater for all the expenses needed to take care of the patients. We pray that the blessings of God will overshadow you. We are in agreement with God's word in Jeremiah 30:17 "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord. So be it! in Jesus Name....AMEN!!!!
....this is my prayer for you, Tim

Hi, Tim!
Only you could cause me to laugh out loud while reading about your trials and tribulations with cancer. My thoughts and prayers -- for what they're worth -- are with you. I mean, who else will tell me to get to work while I'm enjoying a coffee at Flavours.
On the other hand, I'm only halfway through your blog.
Expect more comments!
