Hey Y'all!
What's happening? I was in bed most of the day and I just couldn't get it together to blog. Sorry about that. Our friend ,Steve, is here this weekend from Grande Prairie to make sure we are all behavin.(especially Esther) I sure keep getting more great verses sent to me by way of the blog. Thanks again. I keep hearing great things about YFC/WL. Cecile James is doing a great job of connecting with people and plugging them into volunteer positions in the youth centre. I am so thankful for the willingness of people to plug in and meet the need. The kids who come to the program are going to really benefit from the fresh new energetic people to connect with(of course, they will benefit from the veterans too.) We always pray for the love of God to shine and truly impact the kids who get involved.
Andy Harrington, the ED for Greater Vancouver YFC, has commited to come up in December and speak at our annual youth Christmas "Whiteout" event. That's going to be an awesome event. If you are a youth leader in the Williams Lake area, feel free to call the youth pastor at Calvary church,Corwin Smid, for more details.392-5324.
Anyhow, talk to you soon.
Love and prayers,
Tim

Hi Tim,
We've been trying to send you an email with an attachment some info that Auntie Gail Ashton wanted you to have, but keep getting it returned. Do you have another email address that we can try? The one we've been using is slimtimmy@yahoo.ca
Thanks for keeping us informed on your website. Our thoughts are with you. Brian Ramsdale
Hi Tim,Esther& Family, We have been following your blog everyday. We are praying for a miracle for you.Our love goes out to everyone there. A big hug to everyone. Love Auntie Betty & Uncle Jack.
Dear Tim,
I have to admitt, we've never met. And until last night I had never heard of you, your wife and your kids. But with that said, I can tell you how you have touched my life all the way over in the next province without ever meeting.
A dear relative of mine has had the great pleasure of getting to know you and your wonderful family. She and her family are forever greatful for meeting all of you and I give thanks to God for putting you in their path. She explained your condition and repeatedly asked why such things could happen to such a great guy. At this I explained that there are just some things that the Lord means for there to be no answer nor should we beginn to ask. There are greater things at work here which I am sure your faith can attest to. It is by your your great testament that this family sees God working in every way and to this family I am forever greatful.
May God bless you and keep you and your family Tim and may you always know that it is for a greater purpose.
In Christ
Isaiah 61:3
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
