Saturday Simply

Good morning!
I was having this great sleep and then all of a sudden, my alarm went off. But, i forgot that i left my alarm out in the kitchen to charge, so i flew out of bed as fast as i could so that the whole house didn't wake up to my alarm. Well, by the time i got there, it shut off on its' own. oh well, i tried. Isn't it crazy sometimes? You do everything you can, but it is just not good enough. No, i am not wanting or having a pity party, but that's just the way it feels sometimes. It is just not good enough, or it is good but not the right time.
How do you feel about those thoughts?
I am so thankful that no one is calling me to be perfect. I don't have to have it together all the time. I think we put that pressure on us ourselves. Let's face it, those who know us, know that we are not perfect. Those who don't know us, don't expect perfection because it is just not going to happen. I guess that is why it is said, "if you find a perfect church to go to, don't go because you will wreck it.
It won't be perfect anymore." i guess that is another reason why we shouldn't look at another person and make comparisons. We will either compare to someone who has it "together" more then you and it will just be depressing, or you will compare with someone who is in a real spin and it will make you feel so much more superior as a person. So, really, it's doesn't help to compare to others. I think we tend to get critical through comparing. We have to be so careful not to develop negative attitudes about others or about other churches who are full of "others". I really don't know how i got on this topic but i would venture to say that someone needed to hear this today. I want to encourage you to love and forgive. Love and forgive. Wow!
That is something to apply to each one of our lives. We need to love and forgive every day of our lives. Did i say every day, ya, every day.
Well, i hope and pray that i am loved and forgiven every day as well. When you think about it, it works both ways doesn't it. So, enjoy your day. Take note of what is happening around you and let me know how things go when you apply this to your life, if you are not already. Have a super positive day.
