Another fine day!?!
Hey, is it a fine day in your neighborhood? What are you up to today? So often, i feel so blessed to sound off what is happening around my neck of the woods. Then i think, i sure hope all is well with those of you who are connecting with me on somewhat of a regular basis. So, are you blessed, behavin, and enjoying life to the somewhat fullest? OR, are you struggling along with bizarre challenges and wondering if things will let up in the not too distant future.(you know, it does feel good to breathe once in awhile.) Come on, be honest!
I sure hope and pray that you are blessed and that you are enjoying the peace that i experience on a daily basis. Even in the midst of crazy, goofy situations, i have been so thankful for the peace that comes from having God's love flowing through you. When i think of the Lord, i think of His love. When i think of His love, i feel His peace. What always amazes me, is how you can experience peace in the midst of a storm. A storm can be quite scary to say the least, especially when you are in the midst of high winds with high trees swaying in those high winds. Or, if you are out in a body of water, in a boat(i was in a canoe a few times when it was quite scary, once in the dark)with huge winds and waves, it can be quite overwhelming, especially with not much experience on the water in any kind of boat. Of course, now i am being reminded of Jesus and His disciples when they were all out in the boat and in a serious storm. I mean, it had to be one serious storm for a bunch of rough, tough, experienced fishermen to be totally freaked out. And there was Jesus, having a snooze(peacefully) while they were freaking right out. It is quite a picture, really!
The King of PEACE in a boat with you. What a deal! I mean really! What a deal! Jesus was woke up by one of the guys, not the storm. Then He brought peace into the situation. That's what Jesus does. That's who He is. So, that's why we can experience peace in the midst of the storm(s) in our life when the Peace giver is in the picture. Isn't that awesome! I SURE THINK SO. Anyhow, drop me a line sometime when you have a chance. I would love to hear what is going on around your BOAT(neighborhood)!
In His Grip,
Tim

Should have given you a little note a long time ago; been praying for you and reading your blog almost from the beginning. Today when you wrote about the storm and being in the boat I thought I'd let you know there are quite a number of WL's who are going through a Bible study about "Getting out of the Boat" (CBC care groups). Thank you for being so vulnerable about sharing your experiences. May God continue to give you strength, health, and blessings every day.
