Thirsty Thursday
Good morning to you!
I had a great snooze last night. Did you? It really is amazing how rest is so valuable to the body. The community nurse, friends, and my wife keep hammering back the importance of rest. I guess i should make some effort to apply that "truth" to my life.(of course, i am already, because if i wasn't, all of these special people
in my life would all gang up on me!) Actually, it is quite interesting to know that healing takes place so much quicker through rest. Healing, now there's a word that interests me alot lately. So, i guess, lack of rest messes up the healing process. So, ya, it makes perfect sense to REST and HEAL!(Just so you know, i am planning to wheel this wheelchair right back to where we borrowed it from.) As much as i appreciate the chair, i am getting a tad fed up with it. But, i really do value it in a huge way at this time.
It is so neat to know that God's Word is clear on who should be carrying all of the challenges we face. It's us, right? Well, that's so often what we do isn't it?
Aren't we suppose to deal with and figure out all the issues that come our way ourselves? NOT! Obviously, we need to deal with the issues but not on our own. I think that's where we get so overwhelmed and twisted around to the place where we don't know which way is up anymore. The Lord says, "GIVE IT TO ME. I WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN A HUGE WAY IN YOUR LIFE" Ok, not quite His words, but same truth. Check it out. It's quite exciting! Look up the word "rest" in the Bible. You will be blessed!
Well, i was getting geared up to do the first chapel for our Timberwolf Junior hockey team today but it is now changed to Tuesday. But hey, i have more time to plan
now.
Oh ya, i have to see my doctor today and see how he's doing. Well, you know.
Have lots of fun today and give someone a hug when they least expect it.
In His Grip,
Tim
