Smile Day

Hey, smile, you are on candid camera! Isn't that a great show? Of course it is.
I love the laughs that come from watching that show. I had an email sent to me that was a take off from that show.(I wanted to laugh like a wild man, but remember, it really hurts when I laugh so I grunt and grin in strange ways. Why not?) Speaking of grinning, I went to see the our family dentist today.(another big outing) Anyhow, Dr. Elmer had a good look and agreed that I need a mouth guard.(not for hockey this year, but to help stop my teeth clinching at night.) He figured it out in a different way than I did. Here's my way: aside from the pain and inability to open my mouth more than an inch most days lately, I woke up in the middle of the night and caught myself in the act. I was clinching so hard, it was hilarious! I mean, if you would have seem the facial, jaw wrestling taking place, you would have been impressed. I know I was, and also somewhat shocked at the same time!
Tomorrow, we start on the raw food program. I hope that I don't get looking too good through this program. I always feel bad when people around me get so jealous of this body God has given me. Well, it's ok, cause I understand and love you all.
We were so blessed with an awesome juicer yesterday. I'll let you know how good it works as the days go by. I can't wait to let you know more about this new food program too.
Well, nighty, nighty,
Tim

Hi Tim,
It was a pleasure to meet you and your family at Kenny & Bridget's wedding in June. The ceremony was beautiful, of course, but your quick wit and personality made it fun and made us laugh out loud. We have just learned of this trial you are going through. It's unbelievable how soon life can change. Your positive attitude and solid faith are truly amazing, and undoubtedly, an inspiration to many. You are a true testament to standing on God's word and His promises, especially through a time of adversity. We will continue to pray for you and your family. All the best, Mario & Carolyn Rivera.

Tim,
Thanks for being so positive. I hope this is a view of the inside of you. Your attitude got me thinking of a CBC Documentary I saw this summer - it was about Ultra Marthons and a Canadian who is taking on the world in this sport of 100 - 250 mile races (on foot!). He said the Ultra Marathon's are 90% mind and the other 10% if mind. It is all about how far YOU can push yourself. I know for you as a bieliever in Christ that HE is giving you this strength, so in your case it is probably 90% outlook and the other 10% is outlook - from HIS point of view. Thanks for being such a shinning example!

A boy committed suicide in our community the night before last.

It is at least somewhat of a mystery to me. That some of us are granted life and despise it. While others fight for it and grasp it with both hands. The difference is especially seen in you my buddy. Since I have known you in the 1970s, you have not only grasped life with both hands but freely offered it to others who had no life.
For those whose life is hidden in God--the kind you have, it is eternal. Sometimes i think it bites that you might get to enjoy that life to the fullest before me. I have never been as good at passing it around as you have. I pray like everyone else that God does a miracle for you Timmy. But i have to admit i am selfish to do so. God's light has shined on all of us because of you.
Stay if He wills it. But fly if you can.

Hi Uncle,

I am constantly thinking of you's, I miss you tons and we pray continuously. Last night, when Andrew and I were praying for you, he said,"What does uncle Tim have?" and I explained it once again, he asked me were it was and I pointed to his back, then he said,"we'll just grab it and take it!", (it was so cute, he was doing the actions when he was saying it) he can't wrap his little mind around it all, but he does understand that you are sick and God is watching out for you and auntie Esther and the kids.
Miss you tons and love ya's even more,
D & D & A
