Hello Hello
Thank you Lord! It was a great day today.Treatment went smooth and i am resting well.
Al went home today. He was a great help around here for me. I moved into the Siesta Motel yesterday. It just wasn't fair for the Smid's to put up with all the traffic and schedule i created. I had to give them a break. I shared the idea with Esther and she was thinking the same thing. Special thanks to the Smid's for helping me through the first and worst week. They are such special people!
The phone number here is 250-763-5013. room 150. I will be here until the Cancer Lodge opening for me on October 3. Esther is here until tomorrow, and an RN, Linda Nordick will be coming to check up on me and make sure i am behaving. Then my brother Dale arrives on Saturday.
So, all is flowing quite smoothly now. I asked the staff in the radiation room if they ever saw the movie Princess Bride. They said yes and asked why. Of course, i had to say that i always think of the torture chamber in that movie when i come for treatment. They said they have been called worse so i guess it went over ok.
I just started a new med to help with reducing the swelling after treatments. I hope it works good because we are praying for a complete reduction and elimination. Do i here an Amen?
In HIs Grip,
Tim

Sam just mentioned that the doctors can't do and don't know more than GOD. So that's our faith.
Are daily in the blog. Lots of love Simone
Hi mate, it' s me again. Do you remember how you told Sam what you think about the music of "green day"? Soon after you went back home, he throw the music away. In August he went with the school in a camp. Ther he told another boy about "green day"...
all what I think is ( also when I read your blog) that you leave everywhere where GOD puts you your fingerprints and they are a testimony of GOD. PTL
Hey Tim, I'm glad you had a good day yesterday -- we all need to appreciate those good days when they arrive unexpected and sometimes I forget about that!
Also glad that Esther can be there with you for a bit.
Keep the faith -- sounds as if you're doing that -- I will be thinking of you.
Mark

Dear Tim
This is Urs and Irene writing from Solothurn. We were sad to hear from Hanspeter what the diagnosis of the doctors were. We remember the good time and talk we had together in the "Einsiedelei" that afternoon and we have been praying for you that the Lord might be with you. We wantet to write before, but we could not get the blog to accept our writing. Now it finally works. We keep reading your thoughts and are so in touch with you. Please give our greetings to Esther. The Lord is with you. Ps. 23.
In Jesus love

The torture chamber from "The Princess Bride"?
Mind you, I did compare one of the lab techs here in the WL hospital lab to a vampire after I heard that dreaded word -- "oops!' -- after one of my blood tests. My response was, "The vampires come at 6:00 a.m." when she wanted to take blood from the same arm. (Not a chance on that one!)
I'm glad to hear that things are going as well as they are.
Hope to see you and harass you soon!
Karen
