Another Round

Hey Ya'll,
Tomorrow will be round 2 of treatment here in Kelowna. I am trusting for a much smoother week due to getting some of the kinks out and understanding more about what is going on.My stay at the Smid's has been great. Joel left for WL today and Al will be here in the morning. My sitter showed up on time and we have had a nice day visiting. Grandma Hale dropped by and joined in on the visit as well.(of course, she threw a prayer meeting into the visit before she left, which was great!)
I had a nice visit with Esther on the phone in the morning. We sure are one busy family.(and we will be together sooner than planned. It must be love!)
Anyhow, John 14:27 says "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you."
Back in August, when i was laying on my hospital bed in Kamloops, i can remember thinking about the huge peace that God had give me just before the operation. I was so full of His peace and it felt so good, especially in the situation i found myself in. Without peace, one cannot experience the joy of the Lord. How can you have hope without His peace? Don't forget love! Love makes it all flow in the right direction.
Oh ya, the Bible says that "God is Love" That's right! It all makes sense when you add the Lord to the equation. If you figured that all out, you must have faith! Sweet!
Bye for now,
Tim
PS Thanks Alex for the twolves update.

Hey Tim:

Just wanted to share a bit of scripture that has always held a special meaning for me in the hopes that it will bless you also.

"Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven's lights. Unlike them, he never changes or casts shifting shadows. In his goodness he chose to make us his own children by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his choice possession."

Rest in the peace and knowledge that you are one of God's choice possessions and just as he has loved you and Esther in the past - he will continue to do so well into the future.

You are a beautiful testimony of God's love!

Johanna

Hey Papa. I really miss you. I'm glad that you're feeling a little better about the treatment and all. I can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving and give you a BIG...but gentle... hug. I miss cuddling with you and laughing with you. I was doing my devotions yesterday and a couple verses popped out at me and I wanted to share them with you
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" Psalm 73:26. Powerful eh.
and also
"The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace" Psalm 29:11

Drink it all in
Tell mommy that I love her sooo much
I LOVE YOU!
~your daughter
