Day 5

Hi! What a beautiful day today! The sun is shining brightly and the fresh air coming through the window feels so nice. Well, the "One day at a time" theme still strong on my heart. Today is the end of the first week of treatment. PTL! Yes, i am thankful for each new day and the sooner a bunch of new days go by, the better!
I just had a shower and it felt so good. Joel does a good job of getting things set up for me. Maybe Joel will want to go into the medical field after going through this with me here at the hospital and all. I know one thing, he sure loves going through all the cupboards in the doctor's offices and finds new things to goof around with. Joel thought it was so cool that one of our nurses left work with a skateboard. So, of course the next day i had to ask her if it was hers. Maybe we can start an afterschool skater club at the clinic.(right next to the hospital)Sweet!
I love this scipture,"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Teach me Lord to wait. Is.40:31 It is that waiting part that seems so challenging to do,but at the same time it is the most important part.
Lord, help me to wait, help me to slow it all down, help my mind to slow down,
so that i can feel your presence in a greater way,so i can hear you more clearly,
so i can extend a hand to the next one you want me to. Amen
Later,
Tim

Hi Tim,
Deb and I want you to know that we are remembering you and Esther and your family before the Lord often. We love you guys and we remember fondly those early days at YFC in Williams Lake. I remember our first ski trip to Silver Star (or Big White?) Shane was driving me absolutely crazy asking "are we almost there?" every half hour.
Thank you Lord for your diligent servant Tim. Thank you for his beautiful wife and family that You have blessed him with. Father we come before You and remember Tim and Esther. Thank you for your comfort and peace through this difficult time and I pray that you will continue to pour out your spirit on them and especially over Tim's body. We pray for your holy healing power to touch him and bring power and life to his body. We thank you that we have a Father who listens and cares. We ask this of you Lord in the name of Jesus who bore our affirmities for us... AMEN!

We too like that scripture as we need to keep waiting upon him in prayer and thought at all times.
Hope that pain management gets under contol for you quickly and the treatments get better and easier to handle.

I know that it's been awhile but it was aweosme to be back in town to see everyone, and it sure was a blessing to come over to see you guys while I was there. It was great to see that your spirit is still as feisty as ever... don't ever loose that.
