Grad Weekend in Abbotsford

Jen Crosby here, reporting from Abbotsford! We have the pleasure of hosting the Wade's this weekend for Rachelle's Graduation from Summit Pacific College (ALL the Wade's). I think we've got 9 extra people sleeping here tonight! We're having a lot of fun and Rachelle's grad ceremony was lovely.

I'm going to teach Esther how to do this blogging thing shortly, so she can keep you all informed when Tim has a down week. He's had the flu, which kept him in bed, but his energy and appetite are improving now.

He had a great time at Rachelle's Grad banquet last night and at the ceremony tonight. And he's having a great time snoozing right now.

Friday Flying

Yes, i am flying but not too high. I just got back to balance after all of the craziness this past few days. Yes, i was a tad messed up with the flu. Now, I am feeling good and looking forward to a nice evening of watching the hockey play= offs. Tomorrow, I am looking forwrd to going to the first monthly YFC men'breakfast. Our guest speaker,this month, will be Gerry Price.
Yes, lots is happening around here. We are excited and thankful for everything. In fact, we are so busy with everything that we can hardly contain ourselveles.

Anyhow, it sure has been sunny and warm and than again windy and chilly. So, it is kind of crazy outside but we are still happy, saved and FREE.

Tuesday Tingles

Hey, thanks for the comments. It is a real blessing to hear from you all.
My co-workers from all over our YFC Region have been a huge blessing financially.
Right when our transmission went on our van, which cost $4,100.,we received $2,700.,
from staff. Now that was a blessing!
So, what else is new? I was so tired today that i slept most of it away. That was was
weird. I would wake up and find myself a way of schedule. Oh well, tomorrow is here soon now.

Monday moods

So, here we are again, chatting away and trying to be good. Ya, trying to be good.
I hope you all had a good Easter celebration over the weekend. We joined in with ministerial celebration and the we had Sunday Easter at our church. SO, With Joel and Rachelle home for the weekend, it was extra special. Anyhow, blessings your way and try hard to be good.

Sunday, all thumbs what a deal that was. Hey, what a deal it is that we can read and enjoy God's Word. Yes, we are so blessed! Joel and Rachelle were home visiting us and we sure had a great time hanging out and visiting. Did i mention earlier that so many people came and did a bunch of yard word at our place from our church. Wow. What a blessing!

Saturday Song

Well,are you ready for the sillys? I'm not. So, last night our internet was not working. Praise the Lord because it is working today. Guess what? About 20 people came over from our church today and did a huge amount of yard work for us. What a huge amount of work. Truck loads of stuff was trucked out of the yard. I am still amazed at all the work done. We even had painting done, plumbing completed and more work done on the deck. So, Ya, we are so blessed silly.
Please keep praying for me, i know it sounds selfish but hey, whatever. My legs are really trying to drive me crazy. We sure had a nice time at the Bethel church last night where we joined in with the ministrial churches and enjoyed a choir Easter service. I even had some very special people pray for me. So, I was extra blessed.

Hey, what's up? I haven't heard from you all for awhile. What have you been up to lately? Are you behaving? Of course you are. The weather here has been nice. We sure had nice weather on the island. Joel sure enjoyed showiing us his new place.
Anyhow, i was at our monthly Board meeting with YFC. It was longer than usual but hey, we got through most of it.
I keep seeing how God wants to bless this ministry and use us to touch many lives. We really need to be willing to touch lives. I think the problem is that we are to busy with our own little issues.
Well, keep praying because I firmly believe that the flood gates of heaven are about to burst.Amen
