Grad Weekend in Abbotsford

Jen Crosby here, reporting from Abbotsford! We have the pleasure of hosting the Wade's this weekend for Rachelle's Graduation from Summit Pacific College (ALL the Wade's). I think we've got 9 extra people sleeping here tonight! We're having a lot of fun and Rachelle's grad ceremony was lovely.

I'm going to teach Esther how to do this blogging thing shortly, so she can keep you all informed when Tim has a down week. He's had the flu, which kept him in bed, but his energy and appetite are improving now.

He had a great time at Rachelle's Grad banquet last night and at the ceremony tonight. And he's having a great time snoozing right now.

Heard this week from Gene that Tim had been admitted after grad to a hospital in Abbotsford. Does anyone know how things are going or if he is now home?

Meanwhile, we are praying...

Tim was dehydrated while he was in Abbotsford so after Rachelles grad, he was in the Abbotsford Hospital. He was there for 2 days for Iv therapy.Tim and Esther are now at a holistic/healing clinic in Wash. until further notice. As I get updates on Tims condition,I will update his Blog. Please continue to pray for Tim. I just spoke to Esther on the phone in Washington(4pm Sunday)She told me that Tim is continuing to regain his strength daily. He is off all his medications and is in no pain!He has not vomited in the last 3 days and is starting to eat again. They will be there until mid June and at that time, may possibly be able to return to WL, depending on Tim's progress.I was encouraged after talking to Esther and hearing how God is working in Tim's life. Please continue to pray for Tim and Esther and the rest of the family. Cecile may be seeing them on the weekend and Tim may be able to do the blog with her help. Julie

Yahoo! I knew some NATURAL therapy would work for Tim, as did Ester.

I am so worried about Gino. He has been VERY angry. Easily brought to tears with sadness. I just wanted to ask anyone belonging to Ginos church, if you could contact him and give him some positive advice with the lord, I'm sure it would help.I have never seen Gene so confused. Under the circumstances, it's understandable, I just don't know how to guide him. I am always there for him when he calls, but he needs more guidence from the church (I think) I hope this was ok to write, I just want to help him.

I'm so glad and full of praise for Tim's healing.

Re: Gene...I have observed the same. Maybe pastoral counsel?

Also, is Tim's treatment something he pays for or is it covered by medical plan? Is this a need we can support/pray over? Don't want to be nosy, only supportive of the healing going on.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say thank-you from the very bottom of my heart for all your support. Our familiy is truly blessed to have so many people walking this journey with us. Thank-you. It has been difficult days... lots of changes to get used to... but knowing that we are completely surrounded by people who love us and are so willing and ready to help, makes things easier. Just know how much we appreciate you all.
I know there are some that do not necessarily agree with the current method of treatment and the fact that my daddy is not here with us, but I want you to know that my brothers and I completely support them in this decision and feel that this is best for now. My mother loves the Lord, is continually growing in Him, and desires to serve Him fully. I believe that she would not do anything without consulting Him first and so, though I miss them both terribly, I am at peace with the decision and trust God with everything. Maybe this will help a few of you who feel distraught to also have peace.
I was talking to my bro. Joel last night and we both came to a pretty amazing realization. You know, most wives in the same situation would have given up by now... probably would have left him in the hospital until he died. Not my mom. Nope, she picks up her husband, whom she loves with all her heart, and keeps fighting. As the receptionist where they're staying said to my grandma, "I have never seen a more dedicated wife". Wow.

Also, thank-you all for your concern for Geano. He is part of the family. My daddy is his best friend. They spent a lot of time together. Same with Joel. Both are gone and I think Geano is feeling lonely, as well as confused. A good way to help is by spending time with him. He just wants to have people to talk to, to hang out with.
We love you all so much. Thanks again.
Rachelle

Thanks Rachelle for telling us your feelings, your thoughts. Your parents are really special. When they were on their 25th wedding anniversy in Switzerland, your Mum kept on saiing, that your Dad makes her so much laugh. After all this years together. Knowing your parents is for us like a very special treat of GOD. And I belive all you say in this blog. Praise the Lord for a family like you are / have.

Rachelle,

It is very apparent that your parents have done an absolutely perfect job in raising you, with the help of the Lord of course. Your words are the wisest that I have heard in a very long time, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. It does give me much comfort to know that although it is very difficult that all is well with the comfort of the Lord. I think as a new Christian, I sometimes forget that and it is so good to be reminded of that by someone who has grown up knowing the Lord, so thank you for that. So many times we worry about things that we don't control.

I admire your parents immensely, their choice is exactly that - "their choice". I will continue to pray for your Mom, Dad and you and your family. I will also say a special pray for Gene.

Is Al around?

You are an amazing family to give others strength. Again, thank you so much for sharing your feelings with us.

Rachelle, Good for you to let everyone know how your family feels about your dads Journey! Yes, it is a freedom of choice as to how your mom and dad want to deal with his healing process! I am glad to hear that he is not having much or any pain now and that your mother stands by him each day as strong as ever! Alot of people would have given up hope by now, but with the strength of the lord behind them they have not given up! Any time extra in life is always an added blessing! Stay strong and I am so glad you belive in standing behind your parents like you do! Giving your mom and dad extra strength daily. It takes a strong person to be dealing with this situation with them afar.
Take care, and my the lord give you more strength!!!
