MOOing Monday

Good morning Bloggers,
I started the morning off thinking of the cows that bless me each day with raw milk.
Now there's a special thought. Oh ya, they bless me with raw cream as well. I really do enjoy it. We are blessed with being around where there are farms. It's great to find people who are into raising the cows and having the farm. Years ago, we use to live on a farm where we worked full-time with at risk youth. I actually learned how to milk cows and we raised chickens and turkeys too. It was actually a lot of fun. But, i have to say that this one time i was milking the cow, i didn't know that the cow had lice. So, as i was walking out of the barn with the milk, my whole scalp began to move all at once. It really freaked me out. I put the milk down and ran straight to the house and washed my hair with delicing shampoo. Oh, what a freaky feeling that was. Anyhow, that was my big cow milking story. Have you ever milked a cow? It really is quite simple when you figure it out. Isn't that the truth about most anything though? There are a lot of things that we have a challenge with at first, but once you figure it out, or someone shows you how to do something that's challenging, it really is quite easy.
I am so glad that last week is over and a new one beginning. The banquet wiped me out so much that i am feeling pretty good now, but it took days and days to get over it.
My wife and I will be attending some pre-foster parent classes this week. It takes about a year to become foster parents so we are starting now. We used to be foster parents years ago, but since we started having our own kids, we took a big break but would like to go back to it and help where we can. So, we are looking forward to it.

Even though it is cold outside, we are still being blessed with sunshine. Let the sun shine in, face it with a grin, and let the sun shine in.
Well, enjoy whatever sunshine is around you today. That's what i am going to do.
In His Grip,
Tim
