Last Saturday Here

Good morning to you all,
As things wind down here in Kelowna, I'm always thinking it's the last time doing this or that here. So, it's the last Saturday here before leaving on Tuesday. Once again, it was nice to spend some time with patients at the clinic on Friday. I am going to miss them so much. Please keep praying for a chaplin for the clinic. Some friends came down from WL yesterday to Kelowna, so, we can spend some time with them today. That will be great! Plus, last night, we had supper at friends of ours that moved here last year from Abbotsford. We haven't seen them for, i'm sure, 5 or 6 years. Also, yesterday, a good friend of Esther's from many years ago, drove here from Penticton to visit us. We saw her about 4 years ago. So,we have done alot of reconnecting with alot of amazing people who have been a part of our lives over the past 30 years. On monday, we are having supper with a friend of mine who i went to high school with 30 years ago. She moved here last year from Manitoba and attends the church that announced they were coming to pray for us on Monday. When the pastor mentioned my name, my school friend told the pastor she new me, so we got connected and will have a great visit on Monday. Cool eh? Oh ya!
Well, have a great day and chat at you tomorrow.
Tim
PS How about that verse in James 1:5,6 where it says,"If anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But, when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like the wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
So, if you believe and need some Godly wisdom in your life at this time, apply the Word to your life and enjoy the helping hand of the Lord. He is always there for those who need Him. That's for sure. See ya!

Hi Tim!!! It's Julie here ...........
excuse me but I have been accused of being technologically challenged .... i finally found your blog and read your note from today ... it was a blessing to me!!! I love you loads and loads!! I've talked to Esther a couple of times but haven't had a chance to let you know I have been praying for you big time and esther and the kids...God is in control! I was in Grande Prairie where Ethan and I had a great visit with Lindsay. We miss her a lot around here she seems to be doing okay with school and work she is just changing jobs so will now be working at the keg ... took her to a church on sunday it was a great time of fellowship ... seems to be all kinds of avenues of ministry. Praying the lord will lead her to a chuch home she's been walking on sundays but its getting a little cold for that...they have had about 18" of snow in the last couple of days. She is living in residence and working to pay her way as she goes so everything is new and she's having fun, enjoys her independence and is finding her way through some growing up challenges. Jordan is quite a hand full, he's not playing hockey this year and not working very hard in school ... love him a lot he's quite challenging. He worked in
Gr Prairie this summer which was a pretty validating experience in the work place for him. we pray for wisdom in parenting him, he's a challenge but in the end i think he'll be okay when he's done being a teenager. Ethan is still ethan active and always inquisitve and still a great traveller, he was great company on our trip. He's in grade three and loves school and according to him his favorite subject is recess, when he was told that wasn't a subject, he changed it to gmn. He's playing house hockey and taking swim lessons and enjoys them both Neil and i are doing okay too! Just wanted to touch base and let you know we are praying a lot.. love you guys such a much!!!!!
