wednesday wise

So, anyhow, as i was saying, wow, what a great visit home on the weekend. I saw the new 24 pass. bus that was donated to yfc for the first time. What a sweet unit! I mean, really, this is going to be used in a huge way. The seats are bucket, cloth, and recline. Incredible! Everyone around the centre is excited about the bus!
Did i say how much i enjoyed visiting the people who dropped by the house on the weekend to say hi, etc... Well, i loved it! I'll say it again, i loved it!
It is beautiful out once again and i am looking forward to getting out into the sunshine. I have to connect with Corwin. He is visiting family here right now, so we'll have to get together and visit. So often, it feels that there is just not enough time in a day to do the things that you really want to do. You know what i mean. Stuff just seems to pile up and then that's what you have to do all the time,
STUFF! Well, i want to challenge you today to leave a little of the stuff for tomorrow, and do something that you really wanted to do.(then please let me know how it went. I would love to hear what fun you had and hopefully it is the beginning of many good times, taking a break from all the stuff, and not feel quilty about it.
Hey, bye for now,
Tim

Hi Tim! Everytime I come on the computer Alexa asks if I am on cousin Tim's website and she wants to know how you are feeling. We are all fine and I read your blog daily. Keep taking time to smell the roses. :) Love you and think of you often.

Love Cousin Kelly

P.S. Alexa asked me the other day when we could go see cousin Tim and I told her that hopefully next summer. Oh ya, Alexa wanted to say that she likes to watch The Little Mermaid.

Dear Tim,
I realize it's been a while since I last wrote you - about 27 years, as I recall, when you went off to Bible College in BC and I went to U of Manitoba. I was speaking to Phil Varcoe tonight and he mentioned this web site where I could send you a note.
OK, obviously I won't try your patience by squeezing 27 years of news in here, but the basic news is that I moved back to Brandon in 1982 and have lived here since then. I work for MTS/Allstream in the network area, basically dealing with Internet/data/video/cellular/fibre optics, etc. - anything a telecommunications company does, except for telephones. My wife and I have a 22 year old daughter and are enjoying our 9 month old granddaughter and love both of them to bits. And yes, it's hard to believe I'm a Grampa!
We still hang out with those crazy Anglicans and both teach Sunday School, trying to mentor another generation of Jesus people in this weird, wonderful world. We also work with a group called "Anglican Essentials", along with Ann and Phil and a bunch of people trying to keep the Anglican Church faithful to its roots (it's a long story).
I heard and read a little about your health - I know something about cancer, as my Mother had it - and assure you that I will remember you in prayer from time to time. One of the most difficult things I have ever faced is really understanding that God is ultimately faithful, even though we live and move in these "in-between years" where things happen that we do not control and maybe cannot understand.
Today I froze my fingers scraping ice off our vehicle, because I forgot to put the scraper and brush in the back seat! Enjoy the lovely fall weather where you are! Manitoba is still the same!
Take care, brother,
David Vail
